Join the Conway Chamber of Commerce as we host our annual Fourth of July Celebration "RIVERFEST" on June 27, 2009 from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. along the beautiful Waccamaw River. This summer, on June 27, as part of Riverfest, you'll get the opportunity to see some of our area's top performers put on a show along the beautiful Waccamaw River. We're changing things up a bit this year... going grassroots for our annual Fourth of July Celebration. Riverfest features country, beach and boogie music, children's entertainers, an Artisans Market, bass fishing tournament, a three-day USTA-sanctioned tennis classic, kayak races, a homemade river raft race, boat parade and so much more! We'll open at 3 p.m.and run two areas, the area located near the Peanut Warehouse and the Riverfront Park area, simultaneously. Live entertainment will be on both stages from start to finish including music on the Family Stage in the Riverfront Park following the fireworks! Entertainment will include Brad Long, Southern Blue, Doug McCormick, The Too Tight Band, Jessie Rice, Russell & Kristi Johnson, Gabbie Rae and many of our Conway Idols. Summer Saturday Concerts at the Riverfront Park Presented by the City of Conway. Bring your picnic basket and lawn chair and enjoy a variety of entertainment along the riverfront.
